We chose the name Birdee because it rhymes with coffee, Vietnamese, and sea – words that describe our first two products: Coffee Beans and Sea Salt. We firmly believe that less is more; our products contain no additives, preservatives, or chemicals. About Birdee Coffee
Coffee picked by birds – quite literally. We've uncovered fascinating stories through direct collaboration with farmers. Our name, Birdee, is derived from one of these stories. Birds flock to only a select few trees in an orchard spanning several acres. They instinctively identify the trees bearing the ripest and most delicious coffee berries. The farmers keenly observe this phenomenon, taking note of the trees the birds favor and carefully segregating these berries from the rest. These chosen berries then undergo the dry processing phase before being roasted, without any additional ingredients.
After ensuring uniformity in size and quality, the beans are promptly packaged to maintain their freshness. A one-way valve on the bag prevents air from entering and oxidizing the roasted beans, ensuring their freshness upon arrival at your doorstep.
